WASHINGTON - Jan. 15, 2019 - PRLog -- This week Resilient Leadership (RL) LLC reported significant new contributions to their leadership development of Certified RL Coaching Cadre and clients. Bob Duggan, Bridgette Theurer and Jim Moyer, the RL LLC partners are beginning their second decade of programs and offerings based on the remarkable work of Dr. Murray Bowen.

The sole purpose of RL LLC is:
·  To build the capacity of leaders to function as Resilient Leaders – able to lead with greater calm, clarity and conviction in the midst of the anxiety provoked by increasing complexity and accelerating change.

Here is a partial list of RL LLC's accomplishments in 2018.
·   In January and November 2018, RL LLC conducted two Resilient Leadership Coach Certification programs
During these two programs, a total of 35 participants received their RL Coach Certification and qualified professional coaches also received CCE credits from the International Coach Federation.  In addition to the three-day training program, participants continued their professional development with assigned readings + reflection papers and quarterly T-Cons to learn how to utilize RL concepts, materials and tools in their roles as leaders and coaches. RL LLC partners have already begun planning for their 2019 RL Coach Certification Program which will be held in May in Gaithersburg, Maryland, a suburb of Washington DC.  For information on this program please check out the RL website at:

·   RL Training and Coaching at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) – Washington DC
In February RL LLC launched the seventh Resilient Leadership program for Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) managers and supervisors at the FDA. The program began with a 3 day live interactive training that introduced the foundation of the six-month program. During the live training, participants formed teams (in groups of 6) to work together during the following months on Capstone Projects that would address organizational needs and apply new RL learnings. To deepen and support ongoing learning over the course of the six-month program, participants attended webinars on one of the RL modules, and received 1-1 coaching from a RL certified coach (including the completion of a 360 assessment). They utilized RL participant journals as well as two books, The Anxious Organization and Resilient Leadership (content of both referenced/integrated in the program), and were provided access to RL Elevate, a learning management system, where participants could access additional resources, articles, post blogs and collaborate with each other through private forums. The next cohort of FDA leaders will begin in the spring of 2019.

The services of RL LLC at the FDA also expanded with the addition of a new contract with the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN). As part of the Leaders Developing Leaders program for aspiring 1st and 2nd line supervisors, planning has begun for a 3.5 day live training in Resilient Leadership basics in early 2019, with six months of follow-up coaching.

·   On Line RL Self-Assessment – Resilient Leadership LLC
In September RL LLC automated their on-line RL Self-Assessment in order to provide the opportunity for visitors to their website to quickly complete a self-assessment by answering 15 multiple choice questions.  Assessment results are now immediately available so that those who complete the assessment get a score reflecting their skill levels in the three core RL competences that support progress in self differentiation. ·   RL Training and Coaching at Marriott's Grande Lakes Resort – Orlando, FL
During 2018, the Leadership Team at Marriott's Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando Florida participated in five RL trainings over the course of 12 months. In addition, they studied and discussed several articles and books related to the principles of Resilient Leadership.  Six senior leaders also participated in 1 on 1 coaching to help them deepen their learning and integrate RL concepts and practices into their professional and personal lives. Self and 360 RL Assessments were conducted before and after the coaching activities for each team member who received 1 on 1 coaching to help them measure their level of improvement in RL core competencies as measured by their peers as well as by themselves.
