cXc Music Teases Revolution in Media Exposure with Global Music Map

MCHENRY, Md. - Jan. 11, 2019 - PRLog -- Current X Change LLC has released their first application, cXc Music (https://music.cxc.world),  aimed at connecting musicians and music fans by geo-tagging each song submitted.

Users will not need to re-upload their track, only submit a Youtube, Soundcloud, or Spotify link. Fans can also submit music of their favorite local artists.

cXc Music offers artists and listeners a new way to connect on a global and local level. When you post a song on cXc Music, anyone zoomed in to that area of the map will see it. The revolutionary map allows you to find and share music in your local area, or anywhere in the world.

Listeners can find new and hot music made in their area. Artists can share their music with the community instantly.

Posting on cXc Music is free and doesn't require an account. Steemconnect allows users to post their music and music they find on Steemit with one click.

Every song is equal on the map for now. The Alpha version teases a crypto-curation system called Purple that will organize the posted music after Smart Media Token (SMT) blockchain technology is released on March 24.

When the full curation is implemented, it will use a triangular system (Sol, Blue, and purple chips) allowing a fair, democratic voting system. A "Sol chip", a time-distributed non-monetary unit of 288 votes, is given on a daily use-it-or-lose-it basis to each verified user. Sol chips are only valuable when voted, and can't be transfered. Blue (BLU), is collected by users who receive votes on their content at a fixed 1:1 Sol/Blue rate. Blue can be voted (which burns the token), held, or sold to people who want to buy votable BLU with purple (PRP), a token tradable for FIAT or other crypto.

The votes, called UPs, are used to curate content on the system, and a tally is kept of the UPs on content for each zip code, city, region, etc in a time granularity of 5 minutes. The more UPs, the larger the area the content will be visible to. Also, a user can go back to anytime after the genesis block to see what content is popular when and where.
