Nyasia Chane'l "Dives" into the new year with her take on a classic pop ballad!

NEW YORK - Jan. 10, 2019 - PRLog -- Rising R&B and pop star Nyasia Chane'l kicks off the first quarter of 2019 with a beautiful rendition of Ed Sheeran's 2017 hit "Dive". Nyasia's version of "Dive" is one of the "stand-out" offerings from her latest project "The Idol EP" a collection of cover songs and freestyles, which was inspired by her weekly social media tradition of posting acapella interpretations of popular songs each-and-every Monday; Nyasia calls this her "Idol Mondays".

"As a gift to my followers, fans and supporters I decided to release a project for them! People have constantly asked me to record one of my "Idol Monday" songs and as a gift to my fans I felt I should give them a short collection of some of my favorite records. The lyrics and texture of what Mr. Sheeran wrote touched me greatly and I think that came across in my version and the people have seemed to really gravitated toward this version" - Nyasia Chane'l

Since its December 21^st release of the EP, "Dive" was the most requested songs off the project and Nyasia felt compelled to distribute the record on a larger scale, and hopefully reach many more people.

Nyasia Chane'l hails from Fallsburg New York, and got her start in music performing in church and at local talent shows. In 2017 Nyasia decided while working towards her bachelor's degree as a student at Purchase University to embark on a career in entertainment.

Her first single "Do it Like That" (Remix) debuted on New York City's Power 105.1 FM by DJ Norie and continues to grow, garnering over 40,000 streams collectively. As an independent artist, Nyasia is constantly performing or hosting venues across the tri-state. In Late 2018 Nyasia became an official spokesperson for the Floyd Patterson Boxing Club and is working with them in 2019 to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
