Florida Forum Series Continues with Bryan Cranston on Jan. 28

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jan. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- The Florida Forum Speaker Series, produced by The Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital, will continue with acclaimed actor, director, writer and producer Bryan Cranston. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m. on Jan. 28 at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Jacksonville.

Cranston, well-known for his roles as Walter White on AMC's Breaking Bad, Hal in FOX's Malcom in the Middle and Dr. Tim Whatley on five episodes of the NBC comedy Seinfeld, began his acting career at the age of seven. Since then, he has earned the honor of being the first actor in a cable series in the history of the Emmy® Awards to win three consecutive times, earning a total of four Emmy® Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, two Emmy® Awards for Outstanding Drama Series as a producer, and a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his portrayal of Lyndon Johnson in "All the Way" on Broadway in 2014. He has been nominated for other prestigious awards, including a Golden Globe and earned a SAG award for the reprisal of his role as Lyndon Johnson in the HBO series of All the Way. In addition to his acting prowess, Cranston is a New York Times bestselling author for his book, A Life in Parts, which The Philadelphia Inquirer called a "must-read memoir."

Series subscriptions are now available for purchase. Cranston will continue the Florida Forum on Jan. 28, followed by renowned NFL Super Bowl champion and Hall of Famer Tony Dungy on March 27. Subscriptions begin at $167 each for general seating; $200 each for preferred seating; $567 for two reserved Bronze seating tickets; $1,417 for two reserved Silver seating tickets and invitations to the Private Receptions honoring the speakers and $2,883 for four reserved Gold seating tickets with Private Reception invitations. Patrons under age 30 may purchase Young Subscribers tickets for $100 each.

Funds raised from The Florida Forum benefit Wolfson Children's Hospital of Jacksonville and the creation of a new Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The series is presented by Wells Fargo, Florida Blue and Landstar, and many valued supporters of The Women's Board.
