LAS VEGAS - Jan. 8, 2019 - PRLog -- North America's leading event for wireless connectivity has a new name and a broader focus to keep pace with this fast-moving industry. The In-Building Wireless Congress, formerly known as the DAS & Small Cells Congress, will bring together the wireless ecosystem to identify ways to meet the ever-increasing demand for in-building coverage and capacity.

The In-Building Wireless Congress will take place at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on June 10-12, 2019.

"This is not merely a new name for an old conference. As the range of connectivity technology evolve, the scope of this conference has, too. At this annual event, 600+ stakeholders and decision makers will examine current challenges and opportunities in today's most comprehensive exploration of wireless coverage and capacity solutions," according to Kristy Perkins, In-Building Wireless Congress Event Director.

"This is an exciting time in the world of wireless connectivity," Perkins remarked. "As user demand for ubiquitous connectivity escalates, maximizing wireless coverage and capacity has become a critical priority." Against a backdrop of evolving technology options, converging networks and emerging business models, this event is an opportunity to learn how to evaluate and leverage available technology and business options in a changing landscape.

The agenda features three tracks taking a deep dive into in-building communications for public safety, security and operations, wireless enterprise connectivity and technology options and network convergence.

Attendees will learn about:

·         Negotiating in-building and campus DAS and small cell agreements

·         Funding models for enterprise in-building wireless that justify the investment and deliver ROI

·         Alternative technologies for wireless connectivity

·         New network deployment approaches

·         CBRS and how to leverage the possibilities of shared spectrum solutions

·         Private LT Networks (via licensed/unlicensed/shared spectrum) and how to deliver industrial loT applications

·         5G and Wi-Fi network convergence and evaluating to what extent operators can use both technologies to support ever-growing capacity demand

·         And more

More than 50 industry experts will deliver insider information on cutting-edge trends and technology advancements and share lessons learned and best practices from real-world enterprise deployments.

Attendees will assess the technology and business options available through a variety of interactive formats, including debates, case studies and real-life scenarios, town hall style sessions, round table discussions with industry peers, workshops, and product demonstrations. They'll gain hands-on experience designing and deploying indoor coverage and capacity solutions, including a behind-the-scenes tour of a DAS solution. In addition, they'll explore new products, solutions and possibilities in an expansive exhibit hall.

"No other conference comes close to matching the depth and breadth of wireless connectivity coverage found at the In-Building Wireless Congress," Perkins said.  "We invite building owners, enterprise end users, wireless carriers and network operators and other wireless leaders to participate in unparalleled networking opportunities, learn from best-practice presentations and gain solutions on the forefront of in-building connectivity."
