Truxx Appoints Jamie Hess, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer

TAMPA, Fla. - Jan. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Truxx announces Jamie Hess replaces Carlos Suarez as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2019.   Hess was previously the Chief Information Officer (CIO).  Since joining Truxx in August, 2017, Hess has been instrumental in expanding the Truxx driver network - growing it to one of the first truck-sharing services with a national reach.  Hess has helped grow revenue and market share for the start-up service.  He lead the charge to develop and deliver TruxxRetail, the platform that enables retailers to easily offer Truxx for last mile deliveries.

Since its launch, TruxxRetail has grown over 250% and secured prominent partnerships with shopyourway.com, Sears, KMart,  Traxia and other regional partners.

As a designer and user interface expert, Carlos Suarez saw a need for a truck-sharing service when he bought a large screen television on a cold rainy day.  The idea hit him when he realized, while standing in the parking lot, that it wouldn't fit in his hatchback.  "It's hard to believe Truxx has grown from an idea to a driver network stretching from coast-to-coast" said Suarez.  As co-Founder, Suarez held the CEO spot for five years.  He will take over as Chief Design Officer (CDO).
