Carlota Kienke Joins Cavignac & Associates as Commercial Account Administrator

SAN DIEGO - Jan. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Carlota Kienke has been hired as a commercial account administrator at Cavignac & Associates (http://www.cavignac.com/), announced Jeffrey W. Cavignac, CPCU, RPLU, CRIS, president and managing principal of the downtown San Diego-based risk management and insurance brokerage firm.

         In her new position, Kienke provides support and assistance to her team members within the agency's Commercial Department, ensuring clients are well served in accordance with their specific needs.  Among other duties, she is charged with processing endorsements, policies and certificates of insurance; handling billing and cancellation issues; administrative follow-up; reconciling audits; reviewing contracts; and performing various account manager tasks.

         Kienke brings to Cavignac & Associates 17 years of experience within the insurance industry.  Most recently, she was an assistant underwriter for Alliant Specialty Insurance Services in San Diego, where she was employed for five years.  There she managed renewal processing, underwrote pollution coverage, and supported the agency's underwriters with the evaluation of risk to determine acceptability based on carrier guidelines.

         Her previous career experience includes another five years with Houston Casualty Company in San Diego, where she served as senior assistant underwriter.  For seven years prior to that, she was employed by Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, also in San Diego, where she served as an assistant underwriter.

         Kienke attended San Diego State University as a psychology major before transferring to National University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing.  She holds a Property & Casualty Broker/Agent license.

         Born in Cebu, Phillippines, Kienke immigrated to the United States at the age of eight and was raised in San Diego.  She lives in Santee with her husband, Bobby, and their nine-year-old son, Robby.  In her leisure time, she enjoys mountain biking, kickboxing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

         Her civic involvement includes serving as part of the yearbook staff and a parent volunteer for school events at Our Lady of Grace Catholic School, where her son attends school.
