- Jan. 4, 2019
-- Latin pop and pop singer-songwriter Melissa Otero has announced that her latest album, Erotomania, will officially debut on April 27, 2019. With the new album's release will be the reveal of the highly-anticipated single "Speak", produced by Luca Fagagnini, which is dedicated to the LGBT community.
Otero's voice has been heard around the world, including on Telemundo's Reina de Corazones and Lifetime TV's Dance Moms. In 2018, Otero's singles "Por Amor" and "Stars" received high acclaim. Otero, who cites influences such as Ednita Nazario, Gloria Estefan, and Celine Dion, says her new single was written and created to help people in the LGBT community find their voice.
With lyrics such as "I'm in the eye of the storm, hoping you'll understand me more", and "why can't you just accept me for who I am?", "Speak" was meant to resonate with those who feel at a loss and struggling to reveal their sexuality.
"Speak" is available now for pre-order download at Otero's website and will be available on February 1, 2019. An album release party for Erotomania will be held at SOB's in NYC on Saturday April 27, 2019. More information can be found at http://melissaotero.com
