PRLog -- Drink The Bottles, rated in the top 125 wine blogs in the United States, has just announced their 2018 Wine of the Year. During 2018, DTB (Drink The Bottles) tasted hundreds of wines and shared those that "made the cut", meaning that they were worthy to share with readers and wine enthusiasts around the world.
When asked how the top wine for 2018 was chosen, blogger Jeff Lawson had this to say. "First and foremost, I try to paint the best picture through words and the tasting experience. But, in today's world, readers sometimes skip all of the important info and jump right to points. With that being said, I use the standard 100-point scale that includes color, aroma, structure and overall quality. For the top wine of 2018 I also had to take into consideration availability and price. If this is a wine most people can afford, unlike a $350 Cabernet, then it definitely received more merit to be the top choice of 2018."
