YES THRIVE to host second annual gala fundraiser Mardi Gras Masquerade for Success, on 2.9.19

DALLAS - Dec. 29, 2018 - PRLog -- Yes THRIVE is hoping to raise the bar this year at its annual fundraising event, Masquerade to Success, to benefit high school aged urban males in Dallas County.  We are excited to announce and extend our invitation to the YES THRIVE2nd Annual Fundraising Gala & Silent Auction- "Mardi Gras, Masquerade for Success". All proceeds will benefit our "Pathway to Success" program designed for high school aged, urban male participants, who will receive scholarships, S.T.E.M. skills, job shadowing opportunities and internships. Prepare for a night of empowerment, networking, and giving.  The Yes THRIVE Mardi Gras Masquerade to Success will auction unique packages, such as exquisite trips, memberships to fitness facilities, signed memorabilia from professional athletes, tickets to concerts and much more.

"YES, THRIVE successfully launched its freshman year in the fall of 2018, accepting the first cohort of urban males in the Dallas County.  We've already been able to help 18 participants, with more than 10 S.T.E.M. professionals teaching, presenting and interacting with these young men, and the year is not over,", according to Co-Founder Keon Morning. "It costs nearly $6,300 to provide services to participants for one school year. Imagine how many more young men we could help, and how much better we could do by reaching the goal of $50,000 from our gala fundraiser this year!"  It's an adventurous goal, but our friends and sponsors are up for the challenge.

Last year, the event raised more than enough to launch its first year of Pathway to Success Program for Dallas County urban males who have a desire and objective to study S.T.E.M. at the collegiate level and enter the S.T.E.M. workforce.  The Dallas-based charity hopes proceeds from this year's event will break $50,000.

YES, THRIVE will also honor the astoundingly talent Cohort 001 participants in the Pathway to Success Program. The participants will be recognized at the Gala by the Founder and Co-Founder. We continue to pay tribute to our participants for their dedication throughout the semester to the program.

The Yes THRIVE2^nd Annual Fundraising Gala & Silent Auction- "Mardi Gras, Masquerade for Success" will take place on Saturday, February 19, 2019, again, at the beautifully-appointed Hilton Hotel-Doubletree Campbell Center, 8450 N. Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas.  The gala's Red Carpet and interviews will begin at 7:00 p.m. with the program beginning at 8:00 p.m.
