NGL Announces Executive Promotions

MADISON, Wis. - Dec. 27, 2018 - PRLog -- The Board of Directors for National Guardian Life Insurance Company (NGL), a mutual insurance company located in Madison, Wis. with over 100 years in the industry, appointment three Assistant Vice Presidents.

Promotions include Alan Shulman, ASA, MAAA, Assistant Vice President & Health Actuary, Brian Stalder, Assistant Vice President & Director of Student Health Marketing and Greg Vertelka, Assistant Vice President & Director of Technical Services.

Shulman, located in the Utica, NY office, is responsible for performing the product rating and valuation functions of NGL, collecting and analyzing product experience data, contributing to planning, research and development.

Stalder, located in the Utica, NY office, develops marketing and sales strategies for NGL's student health and accident insurance areas. He focuses on policies, objectives, supporting plans, conservation programs and development of effective public and agent relations.

Vertelka, located in the Madison, WI office, oversees all technical aspects and resources within IT operations, infrastructure and customer service areas. He provides leadership and management direction to technical services staff with technology projects that include internal customers and external vendors.
