The Jungle Club Teams up with Hope For Family Center to Help Make Christmas Brighter for Families

VERO BEACH, Fla. - Dec. 26, 2018 - PRLog -- The Christmas Spirit alive and well at the Jungle Club Sports Complex in Vero Beach. For the second year in a row, the Jungle Club has collected gifts to be distributed to local families who may otherwise not be able to afford Christmas gifts for their children.

We often take for granted 'having enough' or 'getting what we want for Christmas' but not everyone is so lucky. The Hope for Families Center helps to make sure that no child in their care wakes up on any day without what they need. And Christmas is no exception. As any parent can tell you, the prices of toys never seem to go down, so this time of year the Hope for Families Center relies on groups like the Jungle Club to help supply needed toys.

Members of the Jungle Club generously collected and donated dozens of toys and presents for 19 of the children staying at the Hope for Families Center. We are so appreciative of our member's generosity, as is the Hope for Families Center. We would not have been able to play Santa without the support of the wider Jungle Club Community.

When you join the Jungle Club, it is much more than a gym, it is a community. And also an amazing fitness center! The Jungle Club's mission is to provide a complete health and fitness experience encompassing wellness and injury prevention through fitness, sports, and health care; focusing on community needs, serving elite athletes to those seeking a healthy lifestyle. The 58,000 sq. ft. fitness area is equipped with state-of-the-art Cybex resistance and Star Trac cardiovascular machines along with the biggest selection of free weights in Vero Beach and along the Treasure Coast.

The Jungle Club of Vero Beach has the feel of a resort with two pools, hot tub, tennis courts, indoor racquetball court and an abundance of sun loungers. A varied class program features over 65 classes per week. The facility also includes a separate spinning and gravity studio, complementing an extremely well qualified and diverse personal training team.

The Hope for Families Center, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, provides transitional housing, nutritious meals, other necessities and access to education, job training and budget planning for parents with children under the age of 18 and adult women who are at least seven months pregnant. The center, featuring 21 rooms for families, also facilitates enrollment for 100 percent of resident children in school and day care.
