The Reason for the Season Dispels the Blues of Christmas
The shortly before Thanksgiving death in the family of San Francisco filmmaker, writer, publicist, Jackie Wright, brought to light the reality of the significance of Christmas and it's Gospel (Good News) as the family celebrated the life of their deeply beloved Brenda M. Wright, who passed November 18, 2018. "We can say 'Merry Christmas'" with hearts of encouragement even in light of the darkness of death." Wright shares reflection on Christmas to lighten grieving hearts.
The complete answer is given in the unfolding…
We ignore the answers of God because He oftentimes gives us the seeds of hope…
All that will ever be is wrapped up in a seed. Nothing can be added to it. An apple tree is in the seed. A lily is in the seed. A watermelon is in the seed. Man is in the seed. Seeds are all around us, from the oceans to the skies to the land. Marvel at what's growing all around us…seedtime and harvest.
"Do not despise the day of your small beginnings" because the answer is in the seed.
Generations upon generations of the hopelessness of man dying in despair of redemption and then God sends His seed that unfolds into life everlasting to all who trust in Him.
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
Remember Christ our Savior
Was born on Christmas Day;
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Comfort and joy,
O tidings of comfort and joy!
(God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, English Traditional Carol c. 1760)
The destruction of the Death Angel in one seed, a babe wrapped in life everlasting given to all who trust in God's answer that is "Joy to the World"
No more let sins and sorrows grow
Nor thorns infest the ground
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found, far as the curse is found
Far as, far as the curse is found
(Joy to the World, Isaac Watts, 1719)
The curse of Life is death.
For He (Christ) must reign until He has put all his enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 1Corinthians 15:25-26
Death Be Gone! JESUS Has Come, first as a seed unfolding at Christmas to a lamb who takes away the sins of the world on a cross at the place of a skull, Calvary/Golgotha.
Christmas lights always a delight. Now I see the ornaments of the faces of loved ones decorated on the Tree of Life shining in hope 'til I see them again.
It is the Joy of Christmas that joy came to the world through the Advent of Jesus Christ and so we shall be "Happy" with Life Everlasting.
