By: Mill Town Music Hall Terri Clark was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and was the granddaughter of notable country musicians, Ray and Betty Gauthier. After graduating from high school, Clark pursued her passion for country music by moving to Nashville, Tennessee where she began her career. She went on to sell over five million albums and achieve Gold, Platinum, Double Platinum, and Triple Platinum status as certified by the CRIA and RIAA. Clark has also taken home the CCMA Female Vocalist of The Year award five times. Some of her popular hits include "Better Things to Do," "Poor, Poor Pitiful Me," "Girls Lie, Too," and "I Just Wanna Be Mad." One of her honors includes being the only Canadian female artist to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
