Providen Jewelry Spreads the Holiday Cheer to the Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation

STUART, Fla. - Dec. 20, 2018 - PRLog -- The Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation of Palm City was recently chosen as the designated charity for Provident Jewelry's holiday parties at their Jupiter and Wellington locations.

A total of 500 guests enjoyed exciting holiday events hosted by Provident Jewelry throughout December at the two stores.  Combined they were able to raise more than $10,000 for the Equine Rescue and Adoption Foundation.

"We brought our mini-horses to the events so the guests could meet them," said Beverly Jones, PR manager for ERAF.  The events featured live music from Supreme Events, specialty drinks from Perfect Vodka, and a selection of the latest timepieces and exquisite jewels.

All proceeds from the prize drawings went directly to ERAF which is a non-profit devoted to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, abandoned and neglected horses in South Florida and the Treasure Coast. The dedicated professional providers, supporters and volunteers work diligently to rehabilitate and care for these magnificent horses to bring them to a healthy and socialized state.

"What many people don't realize is that our rescue work is not just in Martin County and many of our adoptable horses find forever homes outside of Martin County. It was wonderful that Provident Jewelry recognized the scope of our work and selected us as their charity," said Beverly Jones.

Provident Jewelry was excited to team up with Palm Beach Illustrated to not only give their clients a reason to celebrate the season, but to also raise funds for Equine Rescue Adoption Foundation," said owner, Seth Berman. "I'm grateful our clients and friends allow us to be able to help in such a big way."

In November ERAF rescued 12 horses from an abuse situation in North Florida and welcomed them to their sanctuary. . They work closely with Sheriffs' Departments and Animal Care and Control Departments to identify these horses and remove them from dangerous and potentially lethal environments.
