AbleVets Is a 2018 Best Workplace for Commuters in Fairfax County

CHANTILLY, Va. - Dec. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- AbleVets LLC, a leading provider of health IT solutions for government, today announced that it is a 2018 Best Workplace for Commuters in Fairfax County. To achieve this designation, AbleVets had to fulfill the requirements of the national Best Workplaces for Commuters program, a membership group managed by the National Center for Urban Transportation Research at the University of South Florida. AbleVets qualified by successfully demonstrating that it offered one primary transportation benefit (e.g., employer-paid tax-free transit and teleworking) and three secondary benefits (e.g., preferred or reduced-cost parking, electronic car charging stations and flexible work schedules).

The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors recognized AbleVets and 13 other Best Workplace for Commuters designees earlier this month. Notably, Fairfax County is a national leader with a total of 93 designees, largely due to the informational and educational outreach efforts of Fairfax County Commuter Services, a program of the Fairfax County Department of Transportation.
