Houston Photographer, Maryanne L. Keeling, Earns Photographer of the Year Award

HOUSTON - Dec. 15, 2018 - PRLog -- Maryanne Keeling, of Memories by Maryanne Photography, has been recognized for superior image making and photographic service with the Photographer of the Year award, from the Professional Photography Guild of Houston (PPGH).

The award was presented to Mrs. Keeling by PPGH president, Kevin Falcon, at the association's annual gala, on December 2, 2018 in Houston, Texas. Founded in 1950, PPGH is an Affiliate of the Professional Photographers of America and is one of the largest and most active guilds in the country.

In addition to this award, Mrs. Keeling is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) and has earned state, national, and international recognition including:

◼ Being a silver medalist and Grand Imaging Award winner at the 2017 International Photographic Competition in Nashville, TN

◼ Being a platinum medalist and Distinguished Image Award winner at the 2018 Texas Professional Photographers Association

◼ And being a bronze medalist at the 2018 International Photographic Competition in Atlanta, GA.

This recognition is not easily earned. It means that Keeling has met the standards of excellence set by Professional Photographers of America. She has been awarded this recognition of her superior photographic competence demonstrated through photographic competition, advanced education and service to the profession. Keeling's honors—and all the expertise they require—illustrate her accomplishments and talent as one of a select few.
