TruckSuvidha Won Prize at Patna Ideathon 2018 Event !!!
Ishu Bansal, co-founder of TruckSuvidha, an online truck booking portal is excited to announce that it had won a consolation prize at Patna Ideathon.
Department of Information Technology, Government of Bihar to promote entrepreneurship and to create a competitive and transparent ecosystem for the entrepreneurs & established start-ups in the state has undertaken numerous initiatives. One such initiative was the Ideathon 2018 event, which has act as a platform for the demonstration of innovative next-generation ideas & product, drawing participation from the various group of stakeholders like Students, Start-ups, Technical institutions, Working Professionals and most importantly by the Business Developers, Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors and other important players from the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Patna Ideathon was a two-day event, started from 3rd December and concluded on 4th December. The event had been held at the newly constructed Sardar Patel Bhavan on Bailey Road in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Altogether 36 IT sector startups including "TruckSuvidha"
Not only this, Jury members like the concept of TruckSuvidha so much that they decided to add consolation prize in the list of prizes. With the respective decision of Judges, TruckSuvidha won the consolation Prize for their thought and aim of betterment of Indian Trucking Industry. It was one of the most memorable day for TruckSuvidha team as they got a chance to present their idea and showcase their hardwork of their continuous efforts of last four years to create digital platform for Indian trucking and logistics Industry. Their platform simplifies the working of Truck drivers, transporters, Industries, logistics, Parcel and part load service providers so much that looks like a dream before 4 years for the entities of Trucking and Transportation Industry. With the help of few clicks they get each and every information of real time truck and load availability in their mobile phone. Everyone in audience also appreciated its concept.
Bihar State Planning Board vice-chairman G S Kang said the state needed more innovations to address issues concerning agriculture and industry sectors. "IT-driven solutions, such as direct benefit transfer (DBT) and online mode of payment have already changed people's lives. However, more needed to be done for the welfare of the people of the state," he said, adding young entrepreneurs, who have migrated to other state, would return to Bihar if their ideas were recognized by the state. "IT industry is bound to change the face of Bihar in the years to come," Kang said.
