Preventing and Managing Overpayments: A Webinar for Social Security Disability Beneficiaries

BALTIMORE - Dec. 13, 2018 - PRLog -- Social Security's Ticket to Work (Ticket) program will hold its next Work Incentives Seminar Event (WISE) webinar on Wednesday, December 19, 2018.

During this month's free webinar, guest presenters will discuss what an overpayment is and what people who receive Social Security disability benefits (SSDI/SSI) can do to prevent and manage an overpayment. Our presenters will also discuss how an individual can report their work and wages to Social Security, including using a my Social Security account.

The Ticket program is free and voluntary and supports career development for people ages 18 through 64 who receive Social Security disability benefits and want to work. During the webinar, the Ticket program team will also discuss employment supports and services that are available to eligible people with disabilities as they pursue their work goals.
