-- Target Roofing & Sheet Metal is replacing the roof on The Commodore in Panama City Beach after Hurricane Michael caused severe damage to the building.
The Commodore is a 13-story, 134-unit high-rise positioned directly on Panama City Beach and just steps from St. Andrews State Park. The 20,000-square-
foot flat metal roof is being rebuilt using a modified bitumen system that offers supreme durability and longevity despite harsh weather conditions.
"Target Roofing is one of the few commercial roofers that are licensed and insured to work on high-rise buildings," said Casey Crowther, president of Target Roofing & Sheet Metal. "Having worked in other areas impacted by hurricanes, we are well-versed in navigating insurance claims and were able to respond quickly to The Commodore so that residents and guests could continue enjoying the beautiful waterfront views from their balconies."
Target Roofing, a commercial roofing specialist, provided The Commodore with an emergency dry-in immediately after Hurricane Michael to prevent further water intrusion and damage. The company is experienced in repairing and replacing shingle, tile and metal roofs.
Target Roofing's project managers for The Commodore are Ellis Caple and Crowther, and the company's job superintendent is Adam Beiter.About Target Roofing & Sheet Metal
