Melville, NY, Monday, December 10, 2018-- We are proud to announce the launch of the Caregiver Resource Network, Inc. a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation. Family care giving affects one-third of households nationwide. Care giving and concern for the future often create tremendous stress on families. Caregivers take on the job for many reasons without thought of the long-term implications of being a caregiver. The Caregiver Resource Network (CRN) was founded to provide all caregivers with support services, information and assistance throughout the care giving process and support resources after the care giving experience is over. CRN believes that the responsibility of care giving can be a difficult road to hoe and we strive to provide caregivers with hands-on resources that will affect the quality of life for caregivers and those they care for.
CRN has designed caregiver 411 kits designed to help deliver better care. Each "Caregiver 411 kit", was created as an E-Z guide that outlines care giving concerns and will identify resources that helps a caregiver provide better care. Caregiver 411 kits are available online or a free printed kit may be obtained through the mail.
CARECAB© is a service that provides a transportation alternative with the Caregivers in mind. Our CARECAB© service is available nationwide allowing a caregiver access to the Uber and Lyft transportation systems with pick-up and drop-off location notifications via text or email. You will know your family member is being taken to appointments or any location on a moment's notice. CARECAB©
Family Caregiver Magazine is the flagship publication of CRN, designed for the growing caregiver population.
The CRN website will provide information, resources and tools for the use of caregivers everywhere on a daily basis.
There is also a CRN toll-free 800 hotline for caregiver support weekdays from 10AM to 4PM. EST.
We invite your support, assistance and ideas as we work to provide solutions to these growing and complicated issues. Your financial support is needed to fund and expand our services to the caregiver community everywhere. A funding page has been set up through Classy.org and can be accessed through the Donate button on the website.
The CRN, founded in 2018, seeks to provide and empower caregivers everywhere with information and resources that will improve the quality of care and the care giving experience for all.
Robert Rosen, is available for interviews about how information and technology can transform care giving.
