MIDLAND PARK, N.J. - Dec. 12, 2018 - PRLog -- This past year was quite exhilarating for Atlantic Stewardship Bank. It is one thing to be able to give back, but quite another to receive wonderful recognition for it. "We are honored by the opportunity to help community charities and organizations with our Tithing Program and through in-kind donations," said Paul Van Ostenbridge, President and Chief Executive Officer at Atlantic Stewardship Bank. "Receiving awards for helping others has never been our goal, but to receive such recognition is exceptional and pleasing for all of us here at the bank. We would like to formally acknowledge our appreciation for the following awards and let everyone know how grateful we are for having received them," he added.

In 2018, ASB received the following awards and recognitions:

The Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey saluted ASB as a "Champion of Good Works" for supporting New Jersey charities at the "Companies that Care" reception.

The CIANJ also honored ASB at its fifth annual Best Practices Conference, honoring companies for their "Best Practices" for innovation in the workplace.

Paterson Habitat for Humanity honored ASB and its longtime CEO, Paul Van Ostenbridge, with the rarely given Millard Fuller Award, recognizing the hands-on support Van Ostenbridge and the bank have provided to Paterson Habitat for Humanity since both organizations were startups in the early 1980s.

ASB was highlighted by the Independent Community Bankers of America as a top lender this year in the commercial category for the $500 million to $1 billion lenders by asset size.

ASB was awarded the prestigious Great Oak Award from New Jersey Monthly Magazine, honoring New Jersey businesses for their exemplary work on behalf of charitable causes.
