LOS ANGELES - Dec. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Mandy May Cheetham has won a prestigious Award of Excellence for Best Leading Actress from the IndieFEST Film Awards. MUTHA is the story of a suburban housewife who fantasizes about becoming a rapper and features original music based on Cheetham's life as a three-time champion hip hop karaoke rapper and Mom.

"Playing a character so close to my own life was very freeing. It gave me the chance to express on screen what I wish I could express in my everyday life," says Cheetham of the role. "I am thrilled to receive this honour and grateful to truTV, Abso Lutely Productions and all of the cast and crew who contributed to the piece."
