United Premier Soccer League Announces Inland Empire Salsa SC's Dual Expansion Teams

LOS ANGELES - Dec. 11, 2018 - PRLog -- The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce Inland Empire Salsa Soccer Club as a new member starting with the 2019 Spring Season.

Based in Riverside County (Calif.), I.E. Salsa Soccer Club will operate 'Globetrotters Salsa SC' in the UPSL Western Conference SoCal Division and 'Globekickers Salsa SC' in the UPSL Women's Division Western Conference, as well as participate in the UPSL Youth Academy Division.

United Premier Soccer League Western Conference Operations Manager Gary Brunner said, "Inland Empire Salsa Soccer Club is the first club that has joined with both its Men's and Women's Teams and we're pleased to have them in the UPSL. Peter Hason is expanding the 'Salsa Soccer Club' from Los Angeles to the Inland Empire, which should create rivalries with the growing number of UPSL members in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties."

Peter Hason is Director of Operations, Coaching & Player Development for Inland Empire Salsa Soccer Club. A native of Bratislava, Slovakia, Hason played collegiately at Dallas (Tex.)'s Southern Methodist University before trialing at Queens Park Rangers (England) and CE Sabadell FC (Spain) and Real Madrid Castilla FC (Spain). Currently, Hason is co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Hason Realty Services and RE/MAX Impact, LCC in Riverside County's Jurupa Valley.

Inland Empire Salsa Soccer Club Director of Operations, Coaching & Development Peter Hason said, "We're full steam ahead and there's a lot of work to do, but we're going to go about training systematically and scientifically using methods that have been honed is Spain and in the USA since the late 1970s. It is a superior training program and I want to illustrate just how good this methodology is because my mission is to improve the technical and entertainment level game in the USA and across the globe. We're going to make this a wonderful club. We want to prove that any standard talented soccer player can be developed and improve their natural and hidden talents to a much higher level with a span of less than a year. Our motto is, 'Better Than Messi', and we cannot wait to get started."

I.E. Salsa is affiliated with Los Angeles Salsa Soccer Club, which dates back to 1993 when is competed in the American Professional Soccer League (APSL). L.A. Salsa SC was a member of the UPSL from 2012-'15.

L.A. Salsa SC President Tony Castro and General Manager Fernando Gonzales have offered I.E. Salsa SC the club's full support in the expansion process.

Salsa Soccer Club's youth academy is a thriving program and features hundreds of youth players from the u8 to the u19 age groups.

I.E. Salsa SC will host tryouts Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 5-6, 2019, at Rancho Jurupa Regional Sports Park (5249 Crestmore Blvd., Jurupa Valley, CA 92509) for both its programs. The Globetrotters Salsa SC (men's team) tryout is Saturday, Jan. 5. The Globekickers Salsa SC (women's team) tryout is Sunday, Jan. 6. Both tryouts begin at 11:00 a.m. sharp so arrive at least 1 hour early to register. Both tryouts will end at 1 p.m. PT. Trial player fee paid by Jan. 4 is $40. Player trial fee paid after Jan. 4 is $50.

The club is finalizing its venue options, and will soon announce its upcoming game schedule.

United Premier Soccer League

The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2019 Fall Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.
