Modern Manufacturing Services, LLC., introduces the Scheldahl Series side weld bag

VICTOR, N.Y. - Dec. 10, 2018 - PRLog -- Modern Manufacturing Services, LLC., announces the introduction of the Scheldahl Series side weld bag line.

This proven technology, has a storied past, going back many decades. Through the years, countless number of plastic bags have been produced using this technology. Given this solid foundation, Modern Manufacturing proceeded to update the Scheldahl Series with 21^st century technology.  An example of one of these updates is the use of "multi axis servo control" for consistent, high speed throughput.  It is expected that this side weld bag system can achieve speeds up to 230 cycles per minute.  Please note that throughput speeds are dependent on draw length and seal time.

Additionally, we've added a touch screen display that is simple to use, with built in job storage for easy job change overs. For easier maintenance and increased uptime, we've also eliminated the lower cams underneath the machine.  Additionally, the system has dual servo nip drives for improved reliability, along with "state of the art" intelligent sealer adjustments. These intelligent sealer adjustments have built in depth control and cycle distance controls for consistent output at the highest speeds possible for the films and features being used.

The Scheldahl Series side weld bag line comes in two different models:

·         41 inch solid

·         56 Inch solid or split lane

Options include an unwinder and V board accessories.  As with all Modern's solutions, we do offer the ability to customize our products to match your application needs.
