ATHERTON TABLELANDS, Australia - Dec. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- The new tourism branding and tag line exploits the natural beauty, produce, features and charm of the Atherton Tablelands incorporating gourmet trails, natural wonders, unique wildlife, pioneer heritage and outdoor adventures.

Ghis Gallo, outgoing chair of Tropical Tablelands Tourism (TTT), said 'Naturally Perfect' was one of many direct initiatives undertaken by Tropical Tablelands Tourism in the 2017-18 financial year.

Presenting at the annual general meeting on Friday, November 30, Ms Gallo said all of TTT's activities were underpinned by a dynamic new website for the destination.

"The 2018 financial year was a busy and productive year for TTT. Marketing activities centered around digital media, domestic, events and destination promotion at major consumer and travel shows through Pro-Active Marketing.

"The organisation launched the new destination website in June, showcasing the entire region including operators (product), natural attractions, new imagery, new content, frequently asked questions, itineraries and a digital brochure rack.

"To keep our destination front of mind, and share what we have to offer in an interesting and engaging way, it was important we had an easy to use, mobile friendly website, which featured lots of useful interactive tools to allow the end user to build their dream Atherton Tablelands holiday."

Other highlights from the year included a growing digital footprint with a 30% increase in Facebook fans and 64.1% increase in Instagram followers, Ride Cairns influencer famil and representation at consumer trade shows in Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane.

"Discover Visitor Guide was also produced and for the first time incorporated themed iconic trails of the destination," Ms Gallo added.

"There were 150,000 of the eight-page trails booklets produced and distributed through the magazine and the Atherton Tablelands' accredited visitor information centres."

Ms Gallo said the local tourism organisation would continue to focus on the domestic market through direct consumer activities in 2018/19, rolling out targeted videos and content to inspire travel to the destination, as well as product development with one, three and five day bookable packages and media familarisations.

"It is going to be an exciting 12 months, and I welcome the new committee appointed at the AGM held on November 30, to the board of Tropical Tablelands Tourism."

New appointees to the executive committee are chair Brett Stevenson, manager of Tinaroo Lake Resort, Eddy Nye of Rainforest Bounty as deputy chair and director of Southern region 3 (Zone 6),andAngela Freeman of Wildlife TNQ as treasurer,
