Lawsuit: Whole Foods security guard chokes customer until unconscious

NEW YORK - Dec. 3, 2018 - PRLog -- On November 29, 2018, Imbesi Law P.C. filed a lawsuit on behalf of its client, Orin Peters, against Elite Investigations Ltd., Whole Foods Market Group and John Doe.

The lawsuit, filed in the Supreme Court, New York County, alleges that Mr. Peters was assaulted and battered by a security guard while shopping in a Whole Foods grocery store in Harlem this past summer.

The guard's actions rendered Mr. Peters unconscious for over a minute and caused concerned customers to check on Mr. Peters.

"There was no justification for the guard's actions and subsequent injuries. The use of excessive force was inexcusable," states Brittany Weiner, an attorney representing Mr. Peters.

The suit seeks an unspecified amount of damages to compensate Mr. Peters for his long-lasting injuries.
