Carnegie Deli Reopens for 10 day promotion

NEW YORK - Dec. 1, 2018 - PRLog -- A2z Restaurant Consulting announced today the launch of the first of the 10-day Carnegie Deli pop up promotion.

The event was sponsored by Amazon Prime to promote a period-experience to celebrate season 2 of their ht THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL The iconic Carnegie Deli was a landmark restaurant in New York City for 80 years, until its closing in 2016. On its last day, patrons waiting online up to five hours for one last dining experience at the legendary deli.

To promote season 2 of THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, Amazon Prime engaged Eddie Fahmy (of A2z Restaurant Consulting) to recreate the 1958 experience of the 1950s.

Mr. Fahmy noted that "We wanted to do a flashback so people really felt like they were in 1958 New York. Amazon Prime has been amazing, with period cars lining the street. We found a location, with tile floors, and added photos and memorabilia for that time period. The effect met our ambitions. Next, we had to staff it correctly and make sure the kitchen was prepared to serve up to 600 sandwiches a day. Day 1 was a huge success!"
