Help Feed A Family This Holiday Season
Holiday Meals to Be Distributed Through Covenant House New Jersey and Jersey Battered Womens Service

Through CYACYL, and in collaboration with Chef Todd Daigneault of MySousChefs, meals will be distributed to area families through Covenant House, an organization that provides housing and supportive services to youth facing homelessness, and New Jersey and Jersey Battered Womens Service, a full-service domestic violence and domestic abuse prevention agency.
According to Herrmann, "This is the second year of this initiative. Last year we fed 60 area families a complete holiday meal and this year we aim to feed more!" She added, "It's easy to do and the rewards are abundant!"
The team has created two packages: a turkey dinner or ham dinner – each complete with meat, potatoes, stuffing, green beans, salad, rolls, butter, and dessert. Each meal feeds six to eight people.
"Covenant House New Jersey is grateful to CYACYL this holiday season," said Janette Scrozzo, Development Director, Covenant House New Jersey. "Their Feed a Family initiative will once again provide young people that are transitioning out of homelessness a festive holiday meal. The holidays can often be a difficult season for many. This program will remind them that they are not alone and that there are many people who truly care. What an incredible blessing!"
