Vintage good times await at Bavarian Inn's Holiday Wine Dinner

FRANKENMUTH, Mich. - Nov. 30, 2018 - PRLog -- Take a well-deserved break from shopping and decorating to "raise a glass or two" at the Bavarian Inn Restaurant's (http://www.bavarianinn.com/) Holiday Wine Dinner on Thursday, Dec.13 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The Inn's Silver Plate Award-winning chef Phil Fahrenbruch is planning a five-course holiday-themed menu featuring wines from Michigan's oldest winery, St. Julian of Paw Paw, and its premium line, Braganini Winery. Diners will also enjoy an estate bottling from Mountain Road Winery, located near the shores of Lake Ontario. A St. Julian Winery guest speaker will provide expert commentary.

The menu includes Lobster Gruyère Cheese Dip and Beef Bourguignon Crostini, as well as a Roasted Garlic, Parsnip and White Bean Soup. The main course is a Rosemary Roasted Pork Tenderloin topped with Spiced Pear and Pomegranate. Finally, guests will enjoy Gingerbread Cheesecake for dessert. Each course will be served with an expert-picked wine.
