Pittsburgh's Emerging Realism Artist

BRIDGEVILLE, Pa. - Nov. 29, 2018 - PRLog -- Fine artist and small business owner Steph Moraca, 28, brings her passion for her hometown onto the canvas with her realism oil paintings.  Not only has she displayed and sold her works locally at art shows and pop-up galleries, but her artworks have won numerous awards, including a fan-favorite award at the Pitt-Greensburg Art Show last month.

Ms. Moraca's business, "The Painting Stoof", was recently established to provide art and entertainment services to the Pittsburgh region, including mobile paint parties, live event painting, and custom commissions.

Ms. Moraca began painting over 16 years ago and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012 with a focus on realism landscape painting.  "My goal is to capture the beauty of a landscape scene and present it to my viewers in a way that connects them to that place and my work."

Although Ms. Moraca creates contemporary masterpieces in her realism oil paintings, she creates delightful acrylic paintings at a much faster pace.  She's currently booking live paintings for 2019, including corporate, charity, and wedding events. "Live event painting makes an unforgettable experience for party guests. I enjoy the rush of completing a 24"x30" acrylic painting within several hours, and to say that guests are entertained by my painting process at a social event is an understatement."
