Eulogy Inspires American Author Anthony Anastasi To Write His Memoir

OLD GLOUCESTER STREET, U.K. - Feb. 22, 2019 - PRLog -- American author Anthony J. Anastasi has written a memoir.

He was inspired to, after the sad loss of his uncle and the reception he received when he delivered his eulogy.

Anthony says "My Uncle Joe's son used to phone him every day.

"After his son passed away, my Uncle Joe asked me if I would call him and spend time with him whenever possible. So I called him often, took him for rides in the countryside, and spent every Saturday morning visiting with him for a couple of hours. He too sadly died a few years ago at the age of 99.

"When he died, our family asked if I would deliver his eulogy, which was a special honor for me.

"The church was packed because Uncle Joe was engaged in so many civic and volunteer activities. When I concluded my eulogy, I received, to my great surprise, a standing ovation.

"Since those attending the funeral liked my remarks so much, I thought that others might also enjoy my reflections on life."

For the next year Tony wrote his book Geezing Along At 80.
The book is his memoir, written in his own heart-warming, humorous style, with chapters like "How I Got so Old" to "Is Anybody Up There Going to Help Me?".

When asked why he decided to publish the book, Anthony simply says "My 8th grade teacher asked me for an autographed copy. I didn't want to disappoint her!"

Anthony's memoir has been published by London based independent publishing house L.R. Price Publications.
