Lonacia Aircraft taps Luna Energy Partners to retrofit 371,000 ft of manufacturing space with LEDs

DALLAS - Nov. 27, 2018 - PRLog -- April 19, 2018--Lonacia Aircraft, one of North America's leading producers of agricultural aircrafts, was interested in new LED lighting for their manufacturing space. However, with the growing interest in LED Lighting comes a flood of new products on the market making it increasingly difficult for businesses and organizations to select the right lighting for their specific needs. Because of this, Lonacia turned to the LED energy experts at Luna Energy to help guide them through the entire retrofit process.

Luna Energy Partners retrofitted 371,000 square feet of manufacturing space with new technology LED high bay fixtures. These fixtures featured cutting-edge technology, including advanced infrared occupancy sensor capabilities able to read motion from over 60 feet at 360°. By replacing metal halide (MH) fixtures with high efficiency LED high bay lights, Lonacia saved over 50% on their energy expense while increasing light output by over 38% to help increase employee working conditions. The company reduced its electricity bills by an astonishing $242,000 in just one year and is expected to produce over $2.4 million in lifetime energy savings.
