Truxx Boasts Record Holiday Shopping Weekend
Truxx continues to expand as retailers offer the app as a last mile service for large inventory purchases.
In August Truxx announced moves from stores exceeded 50% of total volume for the first time. This came on the heals of their partnership with Sears, Shopyourway.com and Traxia, the maker of the cloud based consignment point of sale software Simpleconsign.com.
Traxia promotes Truxx to thousands of independent consignment and antique retailers across the United States. Sears has since filed for chapter 11 protection and recently announced the closure of an additional 40 stores. Truxx is being promoted as a last mile service for store closure liquidation. Shopyourway members who use the Truxx service can earn cashback rewards.
"The partnerships have been great" said Hess, "We all know Sears is on the ropes, but they still have fight in them. We did a fair amount of activity with their stores this past weekend but, more importantly, we continue to receive positive feedback from customers who are getting great deals and who love the convenience of Truxx. It really is an innovative offering and it has given us the chance to learn to deliver at scale."
Truxx is a digital platform that connects pickup truck/van owners with people in need of moving larger items, like oversized retail purchases or for moves across town. The service also offers drivers an opportunity to earn additional income. The service is available online (Truxxit.com)
, or by downloading the mobile app at App store or Android Play. Prices start at just $25. Truxx is one of the first services of its kind. For more information on the company, please visit www.Truxxit.com.
