-- After the tragic floods in Wadi Musa; regardless of not having any reported causality or injury, associates at Petra Marriott Hotel ensured all guests were back at the hotel safely, offered them free drinks at the lobby to keep them warm and assisted them with anything they need, such as cleaning their clothes and shoes.
Additionally, associates also supported Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority as part of their Spirit to Serve by distributing lunch boxes among the national workers who cleaned up Wadi Musa the day after the floods. The Hotel Manager, Mahmoud Farajat, even distributed some of the boxes, which was very much appreciated by Commissioners of Petra Region Authority, local community as well as the National Workers.
Lastly, as part of their TakeCare initiative for health and wellbeing, Petra Marriott Hotel helped the contestants of the Petra Desert Marathon stay hydrated while competing by distributing water to them and cheered them on as they ran!Ends
