By: Imagine More, LLC Today, Mayor Ted Green and a group of business leaders will visit three of East Orange's smaller business districts ― the Ampere Business District, Sanford Avenue Business District from Elmwood Avenue to Tremont Avenue, and Lower Central Avenue shops from Grove Street to 18th Street, stopping for approximately 30 minutes in each area. A sampling of the Shop Small Business Saturday establishments visited were: Ampere Business District: Lloyd's Barber Shop, 97 4th Avenue Lite & Soul Eatery, 64A 4th Avenue In Da Kut Barber Shop, 64 4th Avenue Lower Central Avenue Business District: Quick Bites, 47 Central Avenue People's Choice, 63 Central Avenue Systahood Beauty Supplies, 61 Central Avenue Brothahood Community Barbershop, 61 Central Avenue Mike's Central Food, 59 Central Avenue Sanford Avenue Business District: Diane's Provisions, 164 Sanford Street Nunez Supermarket Corp, 159 Sanford Street Apache Wings, 155 Sanford Street "Local shops are some of our favorite places to find great food and personal services. Which is why members of Urban Essex Chamber of Commerce and other business leaders were happy to support Small Business Saturday and encourage East Orange residents and fans to 'shop small' this holiday season," says Anna D.
