Pilgrim Leading the way in Gluten Free Options for Guests

BASINGSTOKE, U.K. - Nov. 21, 2018 - PRLog -- The Pilgrim Country House Hotel in the Wye Valley has re-launched its entire range of food options, with over 50% of its lunch, afternoon tea, snack and dinner offerings now available Gluten Free.

Comments Steve Boyle, ex-England rugby international and owner of the hotel: "Many more people are requesting Gluten Free dishes and so our talented chef, Deepak Kumar, took it upon himself to look at all our menus to see what could be done; the result is that now, over 50% of everything we offer throughout the day and for evening dinner, can be ordered Gluten Free.

"It can't be much fun to arrive at a restaurant and have scant choice if you are GF, but we have overcome the problem and can offer everything from Mustard Marinated Pigeon Breast & Black Pudding to Pan Fried Chicken Supreme with Lyonnaise Potatoes & Creamy Leek sauce; our GF guests certainly won't be leaving feeling hungry!"

Meals at the Pilgrim Country House Hotel can either be enjoyed in the bar which has the feel of a classic country pub with its roaring, log-burning fire, or in the Valley Restaurant which has uninterrupted views across the border to Wales and the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

The hotel offers a variety of packages including walking, golfing and fishing, and it also regularly stages popular Murder Mystery Evenings.

There is currently a special offer for the three-night 'Country Break' from just £99 per person (two sharing).

This includes three nights' accommodation with full-English breakfast, and dinner on two nights (£25 per person allowance).

The hotel is located mid-way between Ross-on-Wye and Herefordshire, in the heart of some of the best walking country to be found in the UK (the Herefordshire Trail passes by the hotel's main entrance).
