Edible Arrangements Partners With AI-Powered NIFT for Small Business Saturday
In addition to Edible Arrangements offering 30% off all items, All Edible stores throughout MA and NH are giving Nift cards to customers, redeemable for a gift at neighboring businesses
Anyone who makes a purchase at one of the locally-owned Edible Arrangements locations across the Bay State and New Hampshire on Small Business Saturday will also receive a Nift (neighborhood gift) card at checkout, thanking them for their purchase and allowing them to get a gift from another nearby business in their neighborhood or town. Nift cards give recipients the opportunity to discover a new local business in their area, which in turn strengthens their neighborhood's economy. Edible Arrangements is also providing customers on Small Business Saturday with 30% off all items including fruit bouquets, smoothies, chocolate dipped fruit and other on-the-go treats.
"Every Edible Arrangement store is owned by someone in that community (or one nearby), and supporting businesses and organizations within each city or town has been our mantra for all of us who own and operate an Edible Arrangements store," said Chris Dellamarggio, Edible Arrangements store owner. "Once we heard about Nift, and how they believe in the same philosophy of supporting nearby businesses versus the big box retailers, joining forces with them for Small Business Saturday was an easy decision that reinforces our commitment to each respective neighborhood we operate in."
"We created Nift in 2016 so small businesses can have a fighting chance against big box retailers and e-commerce giants by helping them build bonds with customers in their neighborhood or town," said Elery Pfeffer, Nift Founder and CEO. "After learning more about the Edible owners and their philosophy of supporting small businesses on a local level, we loved the idea of partnering with them on Small Business Saturday to introduce Nift to their already-loyal customers, and to give our members the opportunity to experience their fruit arrangements and treats made fresh daily."
Small Business Saturday, a registered trademark of American Express, was created in 2010 to encourage consumers to shop small and shop local. For more information, please visit (http://www.americanexpress.com/
