Stockport Homes Group awards asbestos consultancy contract to Airborne Environmental Consultan
Stockport Homes Group who manage a housing stock of more than 11,000 homes and high-rise properties on behalf of Stockport Council, provides comfortable and affordable housing to over 30,000 customers within the Stockport area.
The housing provider manages and develops properties and aims to 'Transforms Lives' by improving neighbourhoods, supporting vulnerable people at all stages of their lives and to assist the Council to discharge its legal obligations to those who need housing.
Stockport Homes recognises the importance of maximising social value in the supply chain by creating local jobs and good quality relationships. AEC are a consultancy with a head office in Manchester who invest in people and training and are able to provide the quality service and long-term relationship that is important to both parties.
Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd, who have over 21 years' experience in asbestos consultancy, will provide Stockport Homes with a wide range of services that include:
· Asbestos surveys supporting investment and management programmes
· Data management surveys
· Air monitoring
· Dedicated project delivery team ensuring safety working practices at all times
· Training services
· Laboratory services
