Palencia Dental and Filling the Gap fundraising event to benefit local non-profits on March 2, 2019

ST AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Nov. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- Stephanie Kinsey, DDS, owner and founder of Palencia Dental (http://www.palenciadental.com/) in St. Augustine, Fla. along with support from patients, sponsors, friends and family will hold the Fourth Annual "Filling the Gap" event on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 7 pm until 10 pm at The Carriage House (formerly) Pioneer Barn at Old Florida Museum, 259 San Marco Avenue in St. Augustine.

The event cost is $75 per person in advance and $100 per person at the door and includes drinks, hors d'oeuvres and a silent auction. Corporate and private sponsorships are available along with a request for silent auction items. This year's party will feature live music by Hit Parade, a high-energy dance band and Gold sponsor Transworld Business Advisors, Silver sponsor Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine, and Bronze Sponsor State Farm® insurance agent Tim Murphy.

According to Dr. Kinsey, the fundraising efforts will benefit the ALS Association (Lou Gehrig's disease) and Wildflower Healthcare, which provides free medical and dental care to needy individuals and families in St. Johns County. Last year, Filling the Gap helped to fund the non-profits with more than $20,000 in donations. In 2019, the goal is to raise more than $35,000 with all proceeds donated to the charities. Through the annual event and numerous philanthropic activities, Dr. Kinsey contributes to many local organizations serving individuals in need.

Dr. Kinsey is an American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) Qualified Dentist and has been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years. Her St. Augustine, northwest St. Johns County dentistry practice is dedicated to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of one's smile combining conservative and state-of-the-art procedures along with advanced dental medicine.

Dr. Kinsey is a Fellow with The International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics (IAPA) and serves as a member and Fellow with IAPA's founding organization, the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). Dr. Kinsey graduated with honors in 1994 from the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver, Colorado. She was accepted into a General Practice Residency in Chicago, Illinois at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center where she was invited to stay a second year and serve as chief resident.
