Barnes & Noble to Host Book Signing for Abandoned Nebraska

LINCOLN, Neb. - Nov. 16, 2018 - PRLog -- Abandoned Nebraska is the newest addition to the America Through Time series. This new book is written by author Trish Eklund and is set to release on November 26, 2018. The Nebraska countryside is rich with history, from the dilapidated houses near the Fort Robinson area where Crazy Horse was killed, to the near deserted village, Monowi—population of one. Abandoned Nebraska: Echoes of Our Past is a photographic adventure through the hauntingly beautiful neglected places of Nebraska, including schools, asylums, colleges, factories, churches, countless farmhouses, and even entire towns. Trish Eklund's personal experiences with the places, and stories of those associated with them, accompany the author's enchanting images.

About the Author:
Trish Eklund, of Omaha, Nebraska has always enjoyed looking for abandoned houses, ghost towns, haunted, and historical places. Her photography has been featured on Snapshot Nebraska, Only in Nebraska, ListVerse, Visit Nebraska, and many others. She is the owner and creator of the photography website, Abandoned, Forgotten, & Decayed. She has written four young adult novels and is currently writing her first adult novel. When not out on an adventure photographing the abandoned and nature, Eklund writes fiction, draws, and spends time with her family. She hopes her work will resonate with everyone, and will inspire stories of the past in the community.
