The mission of Collier Youth Services is to provide at-risk youth a chance to grow toward their potential in an environment that promotes belonging, dignity, and hope. The girls live together in a warm, attractive setting where they interact with each other and supporting adults. The group home is staffed 24 hours a day by professional counselors and provides a stable and affirming environment in which girls prepare for independent living.
According to Georgette Kyriacou, PWBGS President, "By sharing our members' personal stories of where they came from and how they achieved success in the building industry with the residents of Collier Youth Group Home, we hope to inspire these girls to follow their dreams. We want them to experience real life examples that prove no matter where you come from, or what your family situation is, you can be successful in life." The on-going monthly mentoring program is held at the group home in Red Bank and is presented in a small, casual group environment. Shore Builders Association of Central New Jersey, Inc.
