PHEMI Systems receives Government of Canada Funding

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - Nov. 19, 2018 - PRLog -- PHEMI Systems Corporation, a leader in privacy, security and governance for big data, is pleased to announce that it has received $1 million in funding from the Government of Canada's Western Innovation (WINN) Initiative. In addition to the WINN funding existing investors provided additional financing to accelerate sales of the company's flagship product, PHEMI Central.

PHEMI Systems was one of 17 technology companies that together received $20 million in repayable contributions from the Government of Canada's Western Innovation Initiative this year. PHEMI's venture investors include BDC Capital, CTI Life Sciences Fund, Discovery Capital, Quark Venture Inc. and GF Securities, through their Global Health Sciences Fund (GHS), and Yaletown Partners.
