Beckatt Solutions' Michael Storey to Present on 3D Printing at Rotary Club Meeting on November 15

ST. CHARLES, Ill. - Nov. 14, 2018 - PRLog -- Michael Storey, co-founder and Managing Partner of Beckatt Solutions, a Chicagoland-based 3D printer distributor, will present on 3D printing in business at the upcoming St. Charles Rotary Club luncheon on November 15^th, 2018.  Michael Storey, an industry expert on 3D printing and Managing Partner of Beckatt Solutions, will speak to the advances and latest innovations in 3D printing, specifically as it relates to business.  "Additive manufacturing, commonly known as 3D printing, is quickly becoming a serious and established tool in business" said Michael.  "From design and prototyping to workholding customization and even production, additive manufacturing is gaining widespread adoption due to its improvements in capabilities and the falling costs of equipment."

In addition to the presentation, there will be sample 3D printed parts from a number of 3D printing technologies, including FDM (fused deposition modeling), DLP (digital light projection), SLA (stereolithography), CFF (continuous fiber fabrication) and SDL (selective deposition lamination).  Most notably, Michael will showcase parts printed with composite materials off the Markforged Mark Two printer.  The Mark Two prints high-strength parts for tooling and functionality, using carbon fiber, fiberglass and Kevlar composite materials.  Beckatt Solutions is a channel partner for Markforged and offers their complete line of industrial and desktop 3D printing solutions and materials.

The St. Charles Rotary Club meeting will start at 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 15^th, 2018, and will be held at The Office in St. Charles.
