Celebrity Golf Tournament at Boulder Ridge Golf Club

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Nov. 12, 2018 - PRLog -- Milpitas Christian School has announced four celebrities will be playing at the Celebrity Golf Tournament for Milpitas Christian School on November 13, 2018. This community fundraiser is part of the "Legacy to Legacy" capital campaign to build a new campus for preschool, elementary, middle and high school students.

Golf Tournament Highlights
These former NFL players are scheduled to appear at Boulder Ridge Golf Club on Tuesday, November 13, 2018:
· Chris Cooper (Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks, and Arizona Cardinals)
· Courtney Brown (Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants)
· Barry Sims (Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers)
· Eric Wright (San Francisco 49ers)

Contests will include "Million Dollar Hole-in-One" and "Shoot Out" with a prize of $100,000.

Charity Fundraiser
"Milpitas Christian School (MCS) offers the best educational experience in the Milpitas, San Jose and Fremont communities," described Chris Horton, President and CEO of Silicon Valley Laissez Faire Organization. "I'm pleased to help MCS enhance their program and solidify their position as a leader in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEM, STEAM) education for elementary, middle and high school students."

"We're excited about our first charity golf tournament," explained Robert Murray, Head of School for Milpitas Christian School. "The proceeds of this fundraising event will help us expand our award-winning program to reach even more preschool, elementary, middle and high school students."

For eleven years, Milpitas Christian School (MCS) has been recognized by the annual Milpitas Post Readers' Choice Awards. This year, nine "Best of Milpitas" awards and accolades were presented to MCS, including the coveted categories Preschool, Private School and Tutoring/Education Center.
