Detroit Free Press Names Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center Top Workplace in Michigan
This was the first year that The Center entered the Top Workplaces contest. With more than 50 employees at their facility, The Center was included in the "Small Companies" category, ultimately placing 19th out of 60 organizations statewide. Since first opening in 1991, The Center has worked to establish a cohesive, organized and friendly work environment for both employees and clients. Now, with 92% of employees taking part in the survey, staff members overwhelmingly responded saying their workplace is among the best.
"The Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center is truly honored to receive this Top Workplaces award," stated Mike Coast, President of The Center. "For years we have strived to create a welcoming, innovative and supportive culture among our staff, and we all are proud to have our efforts recognized by the Detroit Free Press. This is a meaningful acknowledgement, and we will continue working towards improving our workplace in the future.
"With the staffing challenges now facing many employers, from lack of talent available to difficulty engaging and retaining existing employees, this award signifies that we are doing something right to keep our team interested in their jobs and enthused about the opportunity to support Michigan's manufacturers,"
