Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers Donate $5,000 to Moreland Arts & Health Sciences Magnet School
By: Greater Twin Cities Honda Dealers
With the support of Inver Grove Honda's General Sales Manager Nick Burandt and eCommerce Director Jason Lewis, the $5,000 check will be presented during an assembly at Moreland Arts & Health Sciences Magnet School.
Similar to their donation for the Kaposia Education Center (KEC) in 2017, Inver Grove Honda staffers selected Moreland due to an employee's connection to the program, articulating the organization's dedication to meeting and supporting the needs and communities of their employees.
This donation will support Moreland's mission to combine energy and creativity to boost academic achievement for all students. The Arts and Health Sciences theme is woven into all curriculum areas and is specially designed to meet students' learning interests and strengths. Students currently have access to a rock wall, an indoor track, and multiple after-school programs, allowing students additional opportunities to explore interests such as music, art, and sports.
"This is the second year Inver Grove gets to participate in the 'Life is Better Thanks to GTCHDA initiative,'"
This check is in addition to the $40,000 the association has already given to local schools, bringing their total donation to $45,000. To learn more about GTCHDA's community involvement, please visit the GTCHDA Facebook page and YouTube channel.
