On December 5, 12 and 19, Dr. McEvoy will offer evening sessions beginning at 7:00 PM at New England Hypnosis & Weight Loss center at 1436 Berlin Turnpike in Berlin. The three sessions will integrate weight loss and nutritional education.
Dr. McEvoy explains that "In a powerful, small group setting, participants are empowered to take a very conscious and active role in their day-to-day health and wellbeing. The three sessions are designed to give each individual the emotional and psychological tools, willpower, eating plan and ongoing support to have a positive and practical weight-loss experience."
Recent program participant Ruth Martin of Bristol posted that she, "lost 43 lbs. fairly easily and I don't feel deprived."
"Hypnosis," continued Dr. McEvoy, "can help a person change beliefs that limit them into beliefs that will empower them for a lifetime. Most people are very good at setting goals for health, career, fitness, etc. However, when it comes to working towards and achieving those goals, we often sabotage ourselves enough to become our own worst enemy. We may start a new task with the best of intentions but as soon as we hit a bump, we fall off track and seldom get back on.
"Through a combination of motivational hypnosis and practical nutritional counseling we work with each person's subconscious and conscious mind to re-program their attitudes towards food, eating, and exercise. After the three sessions, we continue to assist participants so they can follow through with their new eating habits and lifestyle."
Program participants also receive Dr. McEvoy's electronic manual publishing all instructions provided in the group sessions. They also have access to a private Facebook group and receive follow-up emails with step-by-step nutritional information for making healthy eating easy to implement and reinforce.
"Our job," stated Dr. McEvoy, "is to help participants take positive actions and to be empowered to control their weight and good health." To make those actions obtainable, during and after the three sessions Dr. McEvoy offers unlimited supportive email and phone access to him for participants to present personal questions or concerns.
"I've seen hundreds of people start a diet or exercise program," cautioned Dr. McEvoy, "unfortunately, when the initial few weeks of enthusiasm end, so does the diet and exercise. Hypnosis can feed a person's subconscious with positive suggestions that can be carried out with little to no effort. This eliminates dependence on sheer willpower and/or determination to follow through. Their mind will begin to work for them instead of their actions working against them."
The New England Hypnosis and Weight Loss Program does not require the purchase of any additional products, supplements or shakes. The hypnosis trains the mind to select the proper foods and to eat the healthy amounts to provide feelings of being satisfied and comfortable. The eating plan recommends only foods readily available in grocery stores. On this program, an individual will not feel deprived because they are enjoying foods they would normally eat yet with the hypnosis their mind no longer craves foods that make them gain weight.
Program participants meet one evening each week for 2 1/2 to 3 hours for three weeks. The first two weeks are devoted to hypnosis sessions to direct the subconscious mind to make proper food choices, overcome cravings and emotional eating, avoid the foods that lead to weight gain and poor health, and help an individual reach desired weight loss or health goals.
The final session is devoted to learning about proper foods and portions, proper nutrients, food preparation, ways to create a new and healthy way of life, plus exercise programs that promote fat loss, blood sugar control, cardiovascular health, and muscular strength and coordination.
The cost for New England Hypnosis and Weight Loss center's three-week program is $497 and $447 for participants who join their Facebook page at https://www.Facebook.com/
