-- Manchester-headquartered Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd (AEC), one of the UK's leading independent consultants and training providers, has acquired a new office in the South East and plans to hire more staff following a six-figure funding deal with Santander Business Banking. The firm will now be able to embark on the next stage of its growth journey, having purchased the freehold of its new premises based in Brentwood, Essex.
Established in 1997 by Robert Harris and Amanda Reid to provide asbestos consultancy, AEC today has over 135 full-time staff working to provide services across asbestos, Legionella and water hygiene, health and safety, and fire safety. Santander has not only provided AEC with funding to support the new office, as well as the purchase of new vehicles and the employment of new staff but the business was also introduced to the bank's dedicated Breakthrough programme to support SME customers. Among other things, the programme offers AppInsitute masterclasses, and the management team plan to take on Breakthrough part-funded interns.Mandy Reid, Director, Airborne Environmental Consultants Ltd, said
