At PAG our goal is not to grow but to try constantly to improve.  With excellence in mind, PAG is pleased to announce: (i) Patricia Acosta  has joined the firm as a partner to head PAG's litigation and media practice and (ii) Fernando Burman has joined PAG as a senior corporate associate.

Patricia spent a decade honing the craft of litigation at an AmLaw 100 law firm and managed her own law firm before joining PAG.

Widely regarded as a tough, yet friendly litigator, Patricia has been ranked as a "Legal Elite" and a "Super Lawyer" in the areas of litigation and media law.  Clients appreciate Patricia's calm demeanor and clear thinking under pressure.  Patricia handles litigation from inception to trial in state and federal courts, and international arbitrations in English and Spanish.

Patricia is an adjunct professor of various cyber, technology and privacy law courses at NSU Shepard Broad College of Law. She led the Media & Communications Law committee of the Florida Bar for two consecutive terms.

Fernando Burman has also joined PAG as a senior associate.  Trilingual Fernando has spent his career advising cross-border clients on their corporate transactions.  He graduated from Mackenzie University in Sao Paulo, Brazil and earned a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from the New York University before working at leading law firms, such as Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York and Sao Paulo.
